What we did
Royal Friesland Campina wants to get a more firm grip on their external websites. FrieslandCampina’s IT department wants to focus on SSL certificates and the expiry of these certificates, as well as eliminating manually checking websites for compliance issues. SSL certificates should be renewed on time to eliminate the risk of websites being unavailable. By eliminating the manual checks of 200+ websites, the process has been drastically shortened with the use of the Nixon platform.

Our smart scanners provide RFC with actionable to-do’s to prevent their SSL certificates from expiring. Furthermore, with the knowledge of the Nixon Platform FrieslandCampina was able to build a business case for a migration program to a central built platform.

In a 10-week onboarding period we helped RFC with the integration of their existing DNS and domain partner. We automated the detection of new web-applications. RFC works with a central team and uses a company-wide ITSM solution. Work originating from the Findings in the Nixon Platform can be delegated to whoever is responsible. By syncing the CMDB / ITSM solution we are helping with the integration of the Nixon Platform with ServiceNow.

The benefits that RFC experiences from the use of the Nixon platform is that they can focus on results of the automatic checks. Instead of spending a lot of time on doing manual checks, they can now fully focus on the results.
